Mamamia!
I hardly blog about a movie I like as I dont even bother to advertise for them for free and knowing that they will not pay me for doing so.. But this movie just takes my breath away.. Not in a romantic way.. But the way they did it.. the whole package.. Its very light very joyful and very lively.Meryl Streep really bring the roll to life as the mother of a daughter who is getting married at the age of 20.. Just in case you dont know who she is, she acted as the devil in Devil wears Prada. She's so different in Mamamia that I had a hard time thinking its actually acted by the same person. I really like her personally and thinks she's really a good actress. Despite being not so young at age, she can really dance and sing and really make me move while watching the show (illegally at home..sorry la.. no money d.. can't afford to watch in Singapore cinema).. Not forgetting, she can actually sing quite well..
The movie revolves around songs from ABBA which is really familiar to me.. I can sing along with most songs as my dad is a big fan of ABBA.. Though they sing and dance, they made it very natural and it doesn't seem unreal like most Bollywood movies where people just suddenly appear out of nowhere and started dancing with the stars.. Most of the backup dancers and singers are the folks living in the small little town and I tell you.. Greece is so beautiful..
I know I suck in movie critic but this is the best I can do.. go to the cinema to watch if u can and have a good laugh watching former James Bond singing love songs to Meryl Streep.. Its a child-friendly show too.. Bring your siblings along!!! Try not to watch online for free like me la.. after all a good show must be supported!! If not, they wont come out with musicals anymore.. I have my reasons for not going Cinema to watch.. 1. NO money 2. NO company..
BUY ORIGINAL WATCH ORIGINAL..
P/s: Wats the big fuss about Jonah's Brothers ah? OK.. no doubt they are quite cute but I seriously can't stand their songs.. Despite so many attempts of listening to their songs and trying my best to like them.. I still can't.. Sorry Jessica, I just dont understand why u like them so much.. but the curly hair brother quite cute la.. hahaha..

Tagged again..
List 10 Things About Yourself Tag.
1. I never leave home without: A big handbag to put my MP3 player, water bottle, my long old brown wallet, handphone, camera, a shawl, lipbalm, small mirror, hand lotion and a novel.. I know its alot to carry but its just too important.. and i'm really trying to cut down the weight I have to carry.. Mummy very worried.. She says so much weight on the shoulder will bring no good for me in the future..
2. I really hate waiting for people who are late for more than 10 mins and dont bother to call..
3. I love to go for retail-therapy every once in a while and hates to buy things with the labels on it.. like 'MNG basic', 'LV' all over the bag or a big nike logo on the t-shirt..
4. I collect stickers and they are all in my malaysia home..
5. I am so in love with grapes (yes those biji biji fruit you see in the supermarket).. the black ones.. I can finish more than 500g of grapes in less than 1 episode of Gossip girls..
6. I miss those days where I played counter strike with my friends.. and not forgetting my sisters..
7. I need a bigger room coz my things are over-flowing.. die die die..
8. I miss mamak food.. the 'mamak' food here is horrible..they dont even know what is Roti Pisang or Roti Banjir or even a simple Maggi mee goreng.. I'm so dissapointed.. Somehow their Milo Ais is not that 'Kao' also..
9. I wish I'm not alone sometimes...
10. I'm going to watch Sex and the city season 2 again after this tag..
Here you go Victor.. Hope to see you soon..
p/s: My family is here and I'm so happy but too bad I got to go back training centre and not able to spend time with them.. Sometimes I wonder whether all these are worth it after all? Who can predict the future? Who can tell whether I will change when I really start flying? Who can know that all these sacrifices will bring my family closer after all?

Drama mama..
Thanks to one of my batchmates that introduce some websites from China which offers free dramas from all around the world for anyone to view by just one click, I'm officially a drama addict now. Its so easy and fast and the most important, FREE!!! I can watch any dramas according to my time and I do not need to sit in front of the TV at a certain time and day just to catch a less than an hour drama and wait for another week for another episode. Its so frustrating most of the times when those brilliant directors will end the episode when the truth is almost out and you will be like 'Man, why they must always keep us hanging like that'.. I hate it when the power is in the hands of those directors. But now, with such good connection in Singapore, I enjoy the luxury of watching xx numbers of episodes I want at any convenient time I have, and now, the power is in my hands. Muahaha...
Like it or not, dramas can be stupid and lame but just admit it, dramas do potray lives of humans that we imagine ourselves to be but do not dare to show it in the reality. Too deep? Well, dramas are creation of humans with a very high imagination and has the power to 'make' it alive and entertain the rest of the human race who happens to have high imagination as well. Personally, I feel that dramas from the States are more entertaining and I am least likely to click on the fast forward key whenever I'm watching them. I'm not stereotyping but I find taiwan and Korean dramas pretty draggy and stupid. Most of the times, you will find me fast-forwarding the drama just to finish it ASAP and get the rough idea of the whole drama just to be able to talk to my Korean-dramaholic friends..(ask my dear sisters if you dont belive..I can finish a 30 episodes Korean drama is just half a day) Dont get me wrong, I love asians, I love chinese and I love Hong Kong TVB dramas but other than that, dramas produced in Taiwan and Koreans are very predictable. I say its draggy because they will just occupy few episodes just for the actor to confess to the actress. I say its draggy because they will just cry and cry and cry for any reasons under the sun. I say its stupid because the actress are always dumb dumb and the actors are always the heroes coming to the rescue. I say its predictable because the Korean dramas always have 2 males and 2 females fighting for one another and Taiwan dramas will always have 2 guys fighting over a girl or vice versa.
Now, I've finished watching Gossip Girl Season 1 and its so entertaining to see the lives of those high end rich kids living in New York. The extent they will go just to step on each others' tails and the drama they created just because of one wrong step. It can be quite a disturbing drama where certain scenes are not really suitable for teenagers in a traditional thinking ASIA but I really like the drama.. Darn.. I feel like a blonde bimbo now.. But the most important thing I realised in this drama is that, MONEY can buy you friends but not loyalty, MONEY can buy you house but not home, MONEY can buy you clothes but not comfort and MONEY can buy you girlfriends/boyfriends but not LOVE.. Seriously, some of you might think that the rich and famous are happy and you just hope you have their bank accounts, but think again after you watch this drama. Everything is just for show and deep down inside, they are as lost as little Bambi in the forest. I'm signing off now to continue watching my SEX AND THE CITY.. Season 1.. I know I'm outdated la.. but who cares?
P/s: I'm stuck here in Singapore where I'm supposed to be in Taiwan shopping!!! Y i'm stucked? Because of the big typhoon in Taiwan now that resulted the Airport to close.. y?y?y?y? Think of the bright side, at least I can watch SATC in my singapore room, how optimistim me.. Since when i'm so optimistic? I can't believe it..

This is just so sweet..
My friend forwarded this video to me and it is just lovely. The artist is one creative fella and I just wish i can come out with such artwork spontaneously at such short period of time. For all you art people, this can be a good inspiration! For all you romantic female dreamers, this will make you go 'aaw...' For all you male species out there, learn some tactics man, this is a good way to impress girls.. haha..Hope you enjoy! (This is my shortest post ever!! haha.. my sisters complained that all my posts are too long and they just hate to read it.. WOW.. I DID IT MAN!! A SHORT POST!! HAHAHA..)
While waiting for the video to be uploaded.. I think i should type something to fill in the time.. haha.. American Idol is on it's 7th season right now(Astro's Star world is showing)!! They are currently showing the first stage of the show where all the weird/funny/bad singers of America with outrageous outfits and weird hairdo/makeup will go for auditions at different spots and let Simon Cowell/Randy Jackson critise them (and of course they have the ever-sweet Paula Abdul to calm and hug those crying babies that are badly critised by SIMON). Do not miss the first few episodes as these are the funniest and will make you laugh till you stomach cramps badly. Better than those comedies on tv!!! However, there are of course some really talented chaps and songtress that really make Simon's jaw dropping.. Be sure not to miss it guys.. Its really entertaining (for now..).. Once all of them are sent to Hollywood for REAL auditions, it wont be funny anymore and you will see alot of them breaking down crying due to the hell-like pressure.. After that, you will follow closely a star in the making! Kelly Clarkson is stilll my favourite American Idol.. Coz she's not skinny thin and fatter than me sometimes (her weight is like YOYO..she's similar to Oprah Winfrey wei.. they are fat and before you know it, they can look like a hot diva!they go on really strict diet which I will never be discipline anough to follow) haha..

the benefits of playing games
I know i used to always condemn about guys that rather go cyber cafes and pay money to play games before this and I am officially apologizing for making such statement (bunyi macam banyak serious.. ).. haha.. I wasn't given the opportunity to be exposed to the game and never expect it to be so interesting.. I just got to play this game on the 26th of December 2007 and i'm loving it!!!! Thanks to 'Uncle' and Jacky for teaching me all the moves and tactics.. you guys are my 'sifu'!!!
So, in order to pay tribute to all the gamers in the world, especially to those guys that played with me and jess, i decided to list out some benefits of playing games (generally all games la):
1. Games help you to think quick! You will be more alert with your surroundings and you have to constantly think about what to do next!!! Better than watching TV coz you don't do much thinking when you are watching a show or soap operas. Instead, you will be a couch potato!
2. Games connect you with your friends/other players. Even if you are playing play station, there will be multi player games and you will get to know more about your counter part. Whether he/she is a grumpy fella or kiasu fella or just some lousy player who are just not gifter in playing games. Even if you have a slumber party, your friends that are not playing can still watch you play and laugh at how horrible you can drive a car in Need for speed. In counter strike source, you will be more bonded with your fellow mates.. isn't that good?
3. Games help you to release stress!!! Yes!! especially you are playing those shooting games! If you are angry with someone, you can just imagine all the enemies as that person and you will definitely win the game!! It works!!
4. Games make you happy! Nothing beats the joy of winning a game!! The satisfaction and the glory just make you feel like you are king of the world when you defeated the opponent. Even if you are playing RPG, the satisfaction of going through all the stages and rounds are priceless!!
5. Games teach you alot of stuff!! There are so many things i learnt by playing games. For example, CS teaches me self defence.. haha.. i get to know weapon names and know how it feels to be terrorist!
I'm just being so lame here but playing game is not that bad if you have self control. Though i'm sort of addicted to CS but i do not spend more than 15 hours a week on it. For those gamers out there.. its not wrong to play games when you are stressed and down, but just don't be so engrossed in it until your mum has to actually lock your playstation/gameboy/xbox/computer/whatever in her room. As long you know how to set your priorities right, no harm what.. and all the gamers who agree knod your head and wave your hands in the air.. *pamela knoding 10 times and waving with 2 hands proud*
*Those people that have been playing CS with me, I really had a great time playing with you all (although i am constantly the target of the opposite party) and i will train hard in order to beat you guys man!!! watch out for more actions from me and jess!!!! Can't wait for another shoot shoot session!!!!!

Blogging trend follower
One of my biggest inspiration would be my sis who is an active blogger (as far as i'm concern). She seems to find joy in blogging and when my house's modem is not working, all she cares about is 'I can't update my blog!!' and her reaction is like the world is going to end. Maybe, like her, i can find my joy in blogging and share my opinions with my fellow friends, readers (cheh wa.. I sound like 1 professional writer), family and whoever that is reading this right now.
Since this is my first entry, I'm very determined to write a long one which I know I am very capable of (girls can really talk!) but most of the time, I'm just pure lazy.. Living in this world for almost 22 years, the problem that I always hear from other people or I myself faced is 'no money la..' 'money not enough man!' 'Why bonus so low 1?'.. It is the problem everyone faces in the world.. MONEY always not ENOUGH!
So, I have decided to come out with the Top 5 Part time jobs you can consider to earn extra income for your pleasure reading (i'm too lazy to list 10). I will also include the pros and cons of each job for your reference (see, i'm a nice and thoughtful person after all). Mind you, this is just my personal idea and I will not bare any consequences should you want to follow and encouter funny/serious problems. (you can always come out with your own list)
Let me start from the bottom:
5. Part time tuition teacher
- Our dearest Malaysian government is only going to catch those full time teachers that are caught giving tuition outside the school premises. So, if you are just a normal college student or working full time in the dog-eat-dog world, you are eligible to give tuition to anyone you want (make sure their parents can pay you la!).
Pros- Its quite an easy cash job if you are really good in subjects that you are teaching. Words spread easily (and super fast) in Malaysia, and before you know it, you are the hip Chemistry tuition teacher that all the aunties would want you to teach their very naughty children. Parents nowadays are so busy to even send their kids to tuition centres which is situated 0.5km away from their house and it is TOO DANGEROUS to let thier beutiful children to walk (or cycle) to tuition centres alone (u know la.. the crime rate is increasing..). If you provide home tuition, you can really chop the parents with high price and don't be surprise if they are willing to pay. The kiasu attitude of most parents who never want their kids to book the last place in the class will help those tuition teachers to have more businesses.
Cons- You might get heart-attack faster than most of your friends your age if you get those monkeys under you. Parents will really 'screw' you if their kids are not doing well at school.
4. Part time baristas/ Promoters
- Starbucks is always considered as the 'IN' place to hangout for most youngsters nowadays (i sound like a 80 years old lady). Why not work in an 'IN' place and earn cash? There are getting more and more part time promoters jobs during the weekends in most major supermarkets which only require your stamina to stand and ability to talk to the fussy consumers. EASY PITSY!
Pros- Baristas can really wash their eyes when those 'chun chicks' or hot hunks visit the cafe and the percentage of getting to know these happening people is very HIGH! You get free coffee every month and get to wear the STARBUCKS t-shirt with pride! People will be like 'wa... you work for Starbucks ah'... Well, if you work as promoters during weekends only, your pay is much higher compared to those working during the weekdays. All you need is to stand at your booth there and smile to anyone who walks pass. You can 'snake' to the chic boutiques or video arcades when your supervisors are not around. You get free stuff and samples!! You get to walk inside the cold room of the supermarkets if you are promotting yogurts/ice creams (how cool is that.. ok, maybe its not that cool..)
Cons- Like most happening places, Starbucks require their staffs to work until the wee hours in the morning. You might have less sleep and it will affect your performances at school or work. If i'm not mistaken, the pay for part-timers and full-timers differ. So technically, part-timers are getting less per hour compared to the full-timers lo. Promoters, when all your friends are relaxing during the weekends after the long week of hard work and sweat, you have to stand in supermarkets like dungus and push sales. You might not have time to breathe or wee wee if the supermarket you are working in is always pack with all those 'kiam-siap' consumers that love to try ONLY!
3. DIRECT-selling
- If you plan to penetrate to this line, congrates to you because you have so many different lines to choose from! We have Cosway, Avon, AmWay, Lamp Berger, Total Life.. the list goes on.. there's always something for you to sell and most of these comapanies 'promise' good rewards.. (i don't know how true is that la)
Pros- If you are 1 active member, you get to attend cool events and meet cool people that are in the same line. You can earn more than what your full-time job can provide for the first few months (maybe). You do not need to wake up at 6am in the morning just to beat the rush hour jams. You can work anytime according to your schedule. You are your own boss dear..
Cons- All your friends and relatives will be terrified with you because you are too eager to share your joy with them. They will start to avoid your calls, cancell your afternoon tea last minutes and you are defitinely not their top 10 favourite persons. What if you join this direct-selling thing and can't get members, you got no money lo! You really need to be thick-face and HARDWORKING in order to succeed in this line..
2. Do ODD jobs that no people wanna do..
- Odd jobs are like wall paintings, fence repair, dog walker, maid, and etc etc. I saw in 'Ripley's believe it or not' where theres this female who paints the wall for people and gets paid extra Usd 30 (or more) per hour compared to most painters you can get in town! Why people wanna hire her and willing to pay that much? Simple, she paints the wall wearing only the BIKINI! (i don't think you can do this in Malaysia though)
Pros- You get to visit people's house and steal thier interior ideas for your future home. You will be paid few hundreds for a less than 1 hour job (maybe la..depending on how pro are you). If you work as maids, you get free food from the owners.. haha.. (but pls, if you don't even know how to tidy your bed, skip this maid job as your options)
Cons- The sun in our country is not that safe (we are situated so near to the KHATULISTIWA line) and skin cancer will haunt you if you don't put sunblocks in a long-term. You might get injured while repairing fence and bitten by dogs. Quite a risky job.. Maids, you will get alot of scoldings for the clothes that are not clean enough, toilet that is still sticky or even the maggi mee that you cook for the kids are not nutritional enough..
1. Marry a rich man or a rich woman
- The tittle says it all.. all the best in searching for your prince/princess charming and be a good part-time husband/wife k..
Pros- Why must be a rich man/woman? They will have maids to do all the cleanings and you just need to relax.. You get loads of money for just staying at home and entertain your tired husband/wife who just finishes his/her work. Can go shopping anytime you want! Stay in big houses which the toilets are bigger than your previous house and bla bla bla..
Cons- Who cares about the cons when you are married.. there's no turning back babe!! haha..
Well, this entry is created for the fun of it, pls do not take it too seriously. Of course, money is not suppose to be the major concern for us young people and even the older ones. There are alot more in life that we should care about like our family, friends, religion, darling/honey and loads more. Pls do not work your a** out just to earn more money. After all, you can't bring those 'papers' with you when you die.. *sign out*
