Phew..

I've been trying my very best to enjoy my life here in Singapore and so far so good.. Other than the occasional lonely feeling that strikes me almost everyday.. Seriously, living here is not as bad as when I first reached here.. I know alot of you are so interested to know about how my training goes but during the 1st 2 days of the training itself, my rank trainer that's incharged of my bunch keeps emphasizing on the seriousness of blogging about SIA and what kind of actions we will get.. Anyway, here goes my statement..

*THE BELOW STATEMENT/ BLOG THAT IS WRITTEN BY THIS BLUR AURTHOR THAT SINCERELY ONLY WANTS TO UPDATE HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS ABOUT HER LONELY LIFE IN SINGAPORE HAS NO INTENTION TO LEAK OUT ANY INFORMATION ABOUT HER CURRENT EMPLOYER OR COMPANY. My training is really cramped up and jam packed to 2 and a half months which really tied us all down as we have to be in the training centre everyday (including saturdays) before 8.30 pm. In the beginning, it was really a struggle for me as most of you know, I'm really a night owl who can't sleep in the night and acts like a zombie in the morning. But after 1 week, it has become my routine. I look forward for sundays as that is the only day I can really rest and do the neccessary house chores or do some grocery shopping (yes.. Ms Pamela does grocery shopping herself once a while now to keep her stomach filled). The training will last the whole day and most of our nice trainers will only let us out after 5 as this is what the company wants. Mind you, I do not have the luxury of my tiny little Kelisa with me anymore and I have to wear heels to training centre by taking 2 buses.. My poor legs are so in pain right now due to over straining..Hahaha..

My 'classmates' are really interesting bunch as most of them are really crazy!!! Yes.. 'Siaw' like me.. and we are considered the noisiest bunch of all batches.. I really enjoyed their company and class becomes interesting because of their humour and craziness.. I really thank god for some of them that really stick by me and gave me loads of encouragement when I really thought of giving up.. The class is pretty small and cosy and there's only 17 of us in total.. 4 miserable guys (which I name them backstreet boys along with one of the trainer) and 13 girls.. Ranging from 18 to 26 years old. It feels like I'm back to college time and it feels kindda good to be learining something totally new.

Who says cabin crew is easy? It is confirmed not!!!! We have to act in so many roles in 1 when we are working.. According to one of the trainers, our job starts from the moment we go out of the house as we will be wearing the uniform in the future whenever we going to work! Whenever we are out, we are carrying the company's image and we must always uphold it!! When we are in the airport, we cannot neglect the people around us and must always smile.. then when we are on board, we are not just high class waitress only K.. we are toilet cleaner, chef, medical assistant, firefighter, usher, baby-sitter etc all rolled into 1.. It sounds pretty tiring.. hahaha..

Pictures of my crazy classmates will come out soon.. As u all know, I do not have a camera.. So, I will have to collect our cam-whore pics from my classmates.. They seriously love to cam-whore and FYI, I'm the ugliest of all gals.. After pilling on the heavy makeup on my face.. Trust me.. I'm not lying..

p/s: i miss malaysia food.. but singapore food is not as bad as what most of you have told me.. The fried hokkien mee here is quite good.. If any of u coming down, I will bring u guys around.. by public transport of course... lol

safe n sound

Hey guys!!! I've arrived Singapore by plane safe and sound and all in one piece 2 days back and life has been nothing but hectic and tiring.. My work permit is not out yet and therefore, theres alot of things I cannot do for the current moment.. Like finding a room, getting a broadband for my laptop and loads more.. I'm staying in a cool and chic hotel- Changi Village Hotel which is located near the airport and its all by the company's expense. Sounds really cool but thats the only thing the company paid for us.. the rest like meals of the day, cab, bus etc are all on our own expense.. Later in the day, I willl have to look for rooms to rent around here with my batch mate and hopefully we can find a decent fully furnished place with affordable price.. lol..

The rental for a room here in Singapore is insane!!! The standard market rate is like s$450-700 per tiny room.. that also depends on the area you are renting and whether it is furnished or not.. Its only my third day here and I trully miss home.. But the food here is not as bad as what you guys have told me. Up till now, the hawker food I've eaten doesn't dissapoint me and its pretty cheap if I dont bother to convert the amount back into RM.. Frankly, if you were to work here and stay here, the living standard here is slightly lower and easier to maintain compared to Malaysia.. especially with the petrol price hike and the political whirldwind in Malaysia somemore.. The locals here are very well-educated with whats happening in Malaysia.. Some even asked me on my view on what happened in the Parliament.. Its so funny..

The best part was my first day when me and my other 3 batch mates have to travel from our hotel to Orchard Road for another BODY CHECKUP!! We hired a cab and I was forced to sit in front with the cab driver.. The cab driver was really friendly and we started chatting.. I asked him alot about tiny bitsy stuff like how to get a hp prepaid number and where to get good food and stuff.. He asked me why I need a number so desperately and I told him that I need to call back home to tell my parents that I've arrived here.. Immediately, he took out his hp and asked me to use his phone to call my mum and tell her i'm safe here.. I was so touched by his kind thought and really thank God for letting me meeting such a nice uncle.. The uncle said he understands how parents feel and he will also be worried if his daughter goes overseas. He even wanna introduce his son who happens to be an officer in the army to me.. hahaha..

Anyway, in short, I MISS HOME AND ALL OF YOU!! Time is really restricted here and really apologize for not able to send a presonal email to all of you.. Give me some time to settle down here and I shall keep in touch with you all.. You may drop me an email at winter_white85@yahoo.com.. Take care and hope to see you guys real soon!! ADIOS!

p/s: I'm so not used to taking public tranport the whole day and wearing all formal but taking bus.. I miss my kelisa.. But, thank god the public transport system here is SUPERB!!!! Everything is connected to everything!!! That's the only thing I like about Singapore for now..

tagged.. again!

Sunday.. my last Sunday in Malaysia before I leave.. It was full of sweetness and can I say Love? Many said their goodbyes to me knowing they will not be able to see me anymore after this day and that itself makes me tearful in the eye.. Hugs were even harder to give because the warmth I can feel makes me even more reluctant to go.. The Royal Rangers Expedition Boys and Girls are super sweet to me today (incredibly), except for some monkeys that are LACK OF ATTENTION trying to make me remember them even when I'm in Singapore and yes, their missions accomplished.. Nicholas Shim, Bryan Ong and the Monkiest of All JOSHUA LIM.. Despite all their sarcasm and butt-worthy-to-be smacked acts, they are still adorable and really make this day memorable.. THE SAD PART IS.. my favourite Cyber Cafe took out more than half of their computers for some stupid match and caused all of us have no chance to play CS.. CRAP.. its supposed to be my 'farewell CS' with the bunch.. how sad.. Y la? Y?

The 2 musketeers.. Bryan, Nicholas and monkey Joshua..

However, in the midst of my busy schedule, I am forced by Mr Bryan Ong to do yet another tag that is almost similar to the one I did before.. But this time, the questions are even more lame..

1. If your lover betrayed you, what will your reaction be? Erm.. Too bad.. HE doesn't know how to appreciate me.. *ego speaking* Of course I'll be hiding at a corner of the room and cry like there's no tomorrow and not forgetting dumping that stupid guy through phone.. coz I wouldn't wanna embarrass myself in the public..

2. If you can have a dream to come true, what would it be?I wish that I can work for SIA but can stay in Klang.. Dont need to go through all the packing hassle and all the tearful hugs and goodbyes..

3. Whose butt would you like to kick? For now, of course I would love to kick Joshua Lim's Butt..

4. What are the THINGS you can't live without? Handphone, computer, water and my bag..

5. What is a Must in a partner? MY PARTNER MUST BE TALL, AVERAGE LOOKING, AMBITUOUS AND HARDWORKING, RESPECTFUL TOWARDS HIS PARENTS, GOD-FREARING, KIND, SWEET, SENSITIVE, DOES NOT COMPLAIN WHEN I GO AIMLESS SHOPPING, FRIENDLY AND IF HE'S ROMANTIC, THAT'S DEFINITELY A BONUS!!

6. Which is more blessed, loving someone or being loved by someone? In my selfish human context, Being loved by someone is definitely something more blessed!!! I'm very very blessed..

7. How long do you intend to wait for someone you really love? Erm.. I don't intend to wait for anyone.. Its either u come and u go.. Its a realistic world darling..

8. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do? Erm, look for my sisters or friends to whine to.. then roll some tears down then start my next day all fresh and happy.. Hello, its not the end of the world.. I'm sure there are better men out there..

9. Is there anything that has made you extremely happy? A simple call from someone just to tell me how much he misses me, makes me super happy.. Oh, someone got me a stalk of nicely-packed rose last week (out of kindness and no intentions), makes me super happy..

10. What takes you down the fastest? takes me down the fastest? what u mean?

11. How would you see yourself in ten years time?I can't predict future.. but hopefully and prayerfully, I will be at least married to someone (of the above stated criterias) by then.. and of course, successful in my career or business.. I'm not a full-time housewife material..

12. Who is currently the most important people to you?My family, frens and someone...

13. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is? He is a gentle giant with sarcastic yet funny remarks but kind at heart..

14. Would you rather be single and rich or married but poor? can't it be Married and rich at the same time.. Paling benci this type of question 1.. We as humans must be optimistic!!

15. What's the first thing you do when you wake up? Curse my alarm clock for making so much noise..

16. Would you give all in a relationship? If that person is someone that I know loves me so much that is willing to sacrifice some of his time just to be with me and cares for me more than I care for myself, y not? You have to give and take in a relationship..

17. If you fall in love with two people simultaneously, who would you pick? You have to give me names in order for me to answer.. Lets say if its Orlando Bloom or Johny Depp, I will rather choose Orlando Bloom coz he's younger and hotter.. and less complicated..

18. What type of people do you hate? I dont hate people.. I just dislike people that are not puntual for the appointments they make with me.. People that say something and does another thing.. and bla bla bla..

Lastly, I would like to show you guys something that might cause you nightmares.. If you are a fan of spooky movies or those scarry shows, you may schroll down.. But if you are those weak at heart, pls stop schrolling..

Oops.. you schrolled too fast.. I apologize for bringing pain into your life after showing this pic.. hahaha.. (Joshua, I told you i will get back to you.. ) Have an awesome week ahead all of you!! Dont you dare forget me k!! Keep in touch.. Use any form of technology that is available to get in touch with me k.. I will be lonely in Singapore..

p/s: I never know packing my own stuff can be so mind-blowing and super tiring.. anyone wants to help?
