reunion..

Lately, I've been busy and occupied with alot of things.. (probably that's my way to forget some of the 'not-so-nice' memories I had last year) Since the 1st day of new year, i've been getting myself injured almost everywhere of my body (being the typical blur-careless Pamela) and have been quite sick as well. But it doesn't stop me from spending some pretty good times with my friends and also my family. Went and meet up with my college mates in TGIF at The Curve last Wednesday for a reunion after we went our seperate ways less than 2 years back after we finished our Diploma in Business back in Help University College. Thanks to Emily who took the initiative to organize this. Although many were not able to make it, the rest of us managed to have a pretty good time. Oh.. not forgetting the sinful-mouth-watering-big-serving food they served there.. can't wait to go there again..

This type of reunion dinners or gatherings are really good especially when you haven't met most of your friends for a pretty long time. It helps you to remember all the things you have gone through before and all the crazy things you did when you were younger. It really lifts your spirit up and reminds you on how much you've got throughout your life. Although college was quite hectic, with all the assignments/exams/crazy lecturers, but i wouldn't have gone through it without them. I'm sure you do feel the same. How many of us can actually live through our school days/college days/ working life without friends by our side? I can't help but to miss my college days after meeting them and felt sad at the same time for no being able to continue my studies up till Degree.. For those that are still persuing in their studies, do not complain.. I know you've been hearing alot of this but how long can you be a student? Once you started working, your priorities in life will shift to a higher level and the pressure you face from everywhere will be much greater than what you faced during your student life. I'm speaking through my own experience.. so i'm not crapping k..

Anyway, i'm suppose to upload the pics for my friends viewing pleasure (and also for them to copy).. Didn't expect myself to talk so much.. haha.. (typical talkative Pamela) IT TOOK ME SO LONG JUST TO UPLOAD THESE PICTURES.. (I SO WANNA COMPLAIN TO THE MANAGEMENT OF BLOGSPOT..)
Testing the camera indoors.. not so pro with the camera.. That is Joel.. forever skinny and funny..
Another test on the flash.. The 'teddy bear' is Wah Jiang and the pretty chick is Emily.. (she's taken.. sorry to dissapoint u guys)
Testing without the flash.. so dark.. oh.. this is Q-hong.. u can hardly see him smile..
the gorgeous babes.. Emily and Su wei.. (she's taken as well.. too bad..)

Bernard (my 'eldest son'), Ashton (i call him Mr bean), Joel and Jiangz..
Yen with Robin (my 'youngest son')..
My 'son' with me.. His smile looks so fake..
Charlie's angelz.. gets the attention whereever they go..

Random shots..

He's so like a teddy bear.. so cute.. haha..

Me with my 'eldest son'..

The sinful dessert.. full with cream and ice-cream at the bottom!!!
It doesn't look like what is shown on the menu though..

We spotted some friend who was dating a hot chick..

Another Sinful Temptation.. look at the chocolate cream man.. love it!!!

They looked so like husband and wife.. Get married!!!

Ashton with Yen.. Don't you think he looks a little bit like Mr Bean?

Family pic take 1.. i look so fat.. so not going to wear the top anymore.. i was lowering myself down abit so that we are able to see those at the back.. what a big sacrifice!!!
Family pic take 2.. i looked even worse.. but i still have to post for the benefit of others.. ish..

I know its abit too many pictures but I'm using Digital camera what.. no harm taking so many pictures.. Its good to look bad at all these pictures when i'm old and think back of all the good times we shared.. Pictures mean a million words.. I do regret for not taking more pictures when i was younger.. i always feel that i looked awful on pics and i still do.. But who cares? The sweet memories will not just fade with these pictures as proofs. Thank you guys for coming!! I really had a great time catching up with you all.. can't wait for our next gathering during the CNY!!! Adios!

the benefits of playing games

If you know me or have the heart to talk to me/meet me up lately, you will know that i have a new addiction in my not-so-interesting life.. I'm back to the game scene!!!! No more in Play station 2 because i just lost the interest few months back.. no longer get excited about any new games that were released and don't even bother to play the games that i bought few months back. Those discs have been there collecting dust for a very long time (At least they have each other for company) and i think my sis did play some of it. Anyway.. that's not the point.. Now, i have a new found 'love'.. COUNTER STRIKE!!!! muahaha..

I know i used to always condemn about guys that rather go cyber cafes and pay money to play games before this and I am officially apologizing for making such statement (bunyi macam banyak serious.. ).. haha.. I wasn't given the opportunity to be exposed to the game and never expect it to be so interesting.. I just got to play this game on the 26th of December 2007 and i'm loving it!!!! Thanks to 'Uncle' and Jacky for teaching me all the moves and tactics.. you guys are my 'sifu'!!!

So, in order to pay tribute to all the gamers in the world, especially to those guys that played with me and jess, i decided to list out some benefits of playing games (generally all games la):

1. Games help you to think quick! You will be more alert with your surroundings and you have to constantly think about what to do next!!! Better than watching TV coz you don't do much thinking when you are watching a show or soap operas. Instead, you will be a couch potato!

2. Games connect you with your friends/other players. Even if you are playing play station, there will be multi player games and you will get to know more about your counter part. Whether he/she is a grumpy fella or kiasu fella or just some lousy player who are just not gifter in playing games. Even if you have a slumber party, your friends that are not playing can still watch you play and laugh at how horrible you can drive a car in Need for speed. In counter strike source, you will be more bonded with your fellow mates.. isn't that good?

3. Games help you to release stress!!! Yes!! especially you are playing those shooting games! If you are angry with someone, you can just imagine all the enemies as that person and you will definitely win the game!! It works!!

4. Games make you happy! Nothing beats the joy of winning a game!! The satisfaction and the glory just make you feel like you are king of the world when you defeated the opponent. Even if you are playing RPG, the satisfaction of going through all the stages and rounds are priceless!!

5. Games teach you alot of stuff!! There are so many things i learnt by playing games. For example, CS teaches me self defence.. haha.. i get to know weapon names and know how it feels to be terrorist!

I'm just being so lame here but playing game is not that bad if you have self control. Though i'm sort of addicted to CS but i do not spend more than 15 hours a week on it. For those gamers out there.. its not wrong to play games when you are stressed and down, but just don't be so engrossed in it until your mum has to actually lock your playstation/gameboy/xbox/computer/whatever in her room. As long you know how to set your priorities right, no harm what.. and all the gamers who agree knod your head and wave your hands in the air.. *pamela knoding 10 times and waving with 2 hands proud*

*Those people that have been playing CS with me, I really had a great time playing with you all (although i am constantly the target of the opposite party) and i will train hard in order to beat you guys man!!! watch out for more actions from me and jess!!!! Can't wait for another shoot shoot session!!!!!

Phew..

I miss my holidays so much!!!! Although I just started work like 3 days back. So many things happen in such a short a period of time.. I had a fair share of joy, laughter and tears.. But its all worth it.. Everthing we go through in life will mould us for who we are now and I believe, everything happens for a good reason (it better be good man, if not i will be very very very sad).

Just came back from work and i'm feeling really tired.. not weak but just no energy. I have been having sleepless nights (around 1 week now) where I will roll on my bed from left to right then from right to left and then stair at the plain white ceiling in the dark and looking at the clock as it ticks away the time.. (thats why most of you can see me online after 12 midnight nowadays coz i know i just can't sleep!) Yesterday i slept around 3 or 4 something even though I went to bed around 2am.. I guess I'm just too active at night and maybe a little stressed up about everything. My mind is so occupied with so many things and I just don't know why.. I wanna sleep!!!!

Every morning, I will be so reluctant to wake up and I literally have to drag my feet to my office. I'm sure most of you do.. especially those that have been working for xx years.. This morning was just hard because I did alot of soul searching (I have no idea what i did for soul searching also) and had some heart-to-heart chit-chat with God during the time I suppose to have my beauty sleep. The result in the morning= Zombie-look-alike Pamela with a very very moody mood. haha..

I met up with a customer in Puchong area just now.. got lost when I was on my way as I am not familiar with Puchong area but still managed to find the office (guess i'm just born smart.. haha) and had quite a good meeting with her. Thank god! Phew.. After that, as usual I drive back. As i was on my way back, my eyes are just so heavy that I didn't realise that i was closing it for too long to call it blinking. For a moment, I just lost my sense.. scarry.. When i remembered that I was suppose to be driving and open my eyes right away, my car was heading to the border of the road and I am on the right lane!! I managed to swift my car back on track before something bad happens and cold sweat was just coming out from me. Thank god that there weren't any cars on the right lane as I was on NPE highway and you know how fast those F1 drivers wannabes can speed! How can I be so careless.. Quickly, I rub my eyes and gave myself a few light slaps on the chick to just alert myself. For a moment, I thought I was going to die. I'm not being drama but I am driving a kelisa.. Hello.. Its fragile and those pillars of the bridge in between the borders are so huge and strong!!! I can just bang them anytime and go to heaven.. *singing Hallelujah in white dress*

I know.. Its so dangerous not to have enough of sleep..I have learnt my lesson and i will try my very best to sleep early tonight (i said i will TRY ah).. Tomorrow is saturday anyway.. I can sleep as long as i want. Planning to finish my Grey's anatomy DVD with Jessica tonight.. hehe..Dramas make me happy now.. chocolate makes me happy.. Milo Ais kurang manis makes me happy.. and a good big hug of encouragement will make me SUPER HAPPY!!! *sweat*

*I dont understand one thing, highway is suppose to help us to reach the destination faster without having to go through the torture and hassle of being stuck in a jam but they built 2 tolls in one short NPE highway which costs RM1.60 per toll!!! And i have to queue up to pay the tolls (and its quite jam) which is such a waste of time!!! I can't use touch n go because I have to get receipts to claim office ma.. I felt so cheated and i feel that i'm paying more for MR S*** V***'s salary.. Government deduct so many things from our salary and 'asks' us to pay for so many types of tax.. still not enough? Take away the tolls man.. Ban those tolls from operating!!*

those down down moments..

Have you ever encouter moments where you feel that you have done your best in certain situation but the result is just so discouraging or dissapointing? If you never encounter, pls do tell me what is your recipe of succeeding in everything u did.. I will call you my SIFU.. really.. No JOKE!!! Being the most ordinary gal (or should i call myself lady? no.. it doesn't sound right.. i prefer to be labelled as gal still) any ordinary gal can be.. I always encounter such situations..

Lately, I felt a little discouraged (ok.. not a little.. alot)with things around me.. Well, who doesn't? Job, relationships, random day to day stuff etc.. It seems like things never go according to how i prefer it to be. When things like these happen, we always like to ask 'God, why me?'.. It is just too easy to point the finger to God when things don't go our way.. At least for me.. I do blame God sometimes for putting me through those emotional/ physical torture. Life is never easy especially when you grow up and have more responsibilities. Life is no more about competing who has the nicest Barbie dolls or who's dad is the greatest.. life is more about how to achieve good grades without studying too hard or how to impress your boss with the most little effort..haha

Sometimes we do feel that we do not deserve that kind of treatment that we are getting after all that we have done but the fact is, that is what we are getting! Live with it or try to improve it/ do something with it if you are not happy with the outcome.. Its always harder to live with it coz our 'kiasu' spirit always ask us to fight and get what you deserve. But in the end, we feel even more dissapointed because things turn out to be worse.. Many times I tried to live with it or just forget it because i do not have the energy to persevere anymore but really 'boh kam muan' (don't feel fair in hokkien) man.. I'm doing all the job yet i'm the one suffering.. what good i get? Why should i do it in the first place? Nobody appreciates what.. *angry*

At this point of time, having some good friends or even your siblings or even your parents by your side is really helpful for the scenario. Trust me! I know men (as in the male species) have this ego deep hidden inside them that they won't tell anyone when they are really down but no harm trying right? Anyway, thank god for people that care for you.. These kind of times are the best times to really know who cares for you.. I'm always amazed on how my family and friends can notice my slightest change in my day to day emotions. At the end of the day when you look back, things weren't that bad if you look at the other side and knowing that you are not alone..(at least you know now that PamSoo is always in the same club as you) I always see the cup as half empty but never realise that the cup is half full (u know what i mean?).

It is not wrong to think negatively when obstacles come along the way.. we are humans not God.. but never dedicate yourself into the 'i'm so pityful' world too long until the people around your get so sick with your emos (short for Emotions). I believe we have to set our limits on our emotions as failures/dissapointments/discouragements come and go almost everyday (for me, its like everyday thing!!). They just love to visit us as Devil is never failing to put us down. Do something you like or enjoy when you are down.. get yourself distracted like how i'm doing right now by blogging and crapping all the way.. Talk to your mama/papa/ korkor/jiejie/ frens/pets.. whoever or whatever that makes you happy. If you are rich enough and you just encounter a major failure, go for a short trip.. Beaches are always a great getaway.. for me now, going out with a friend for a drink and have a great laugh is good enough coz the fact is i can't even afford a short trip. Thanks Grace for accompanying me and thanks to Jess and Amy for being good listening ears. Just got back from a good indian food hours ago with Grace and i'm still feeling bloated.. Food makes me happy.. Counter strike makes me happy..Looking at curly hair hot hunks makes me happy.. music makes me happy.. my dog drives me crazy.. haha..

Seriously, i think i'm crapping over here.. but who cares.. its my blog anyway.. haha.. thanks to all of you who were concern about me in msn.. i really appreciate it. I will try not to be emo anymore.. at least for tomorrow.. haha..Time to sign off.. good night earthlings!

Daddy and mummy.. Happy 23rd anniversary...

I do not have much time now.. but just wanna post something to open this new year..or else people will be complaining that I do not update my blog.. haha.. Its already the 2nd of January but I still wanna wish my parents Happy ANNIVERSARY!!!! (i was stuck in Penang with no internet access k) They got married on 1/1/1985 and survived a long 23 years of marriage.. I really salute them!!! They are still so in love with each other and i'm so jealous to see them like that! Do you know that my dad still holds my mum hand whenever we go out? Do you know that they will have date (without 3 of us monkeys of course!) once in a blue moon like going out for a romantic nice dinner then followed by a nice movie? My dad will always bring my mum to new places that he discovered or bring her shopping even though he hates it..My mum will cook my dad's favourite Peanut 'tong sui' just for him even though she was tired after a long days work..I think all these small things are some of the ways to keep the marriage alive! They are always sarcastic to each other (thats where we 3 sisters get our sarcasm from.. blame them.. haha)but you know they just love each other and enjoy teasing with one another..

They of course, like any other married couples have their downfalls throughout the years and it is never easy to raise 3 children, but they hold on to their promises they made to one another 23 years back and build up the family they have today! If they do not have 3 monkeys to raise, i think they should have been billionairs by now.. They sacrificed alot for the family and for each other..It is because of my parents that make me so looking foward for a marriage of my own.. I am so looking foward for starting my own family.. but right now, i do not even have a right candidate.. sad but true.. (anyone interested, pls send your resume plus 3R close up picture to this blog and you will be notify in 14 days should you be selected.)

My parents won't be reading my blog but i just wanna tell the whole world that i love them so much and words just can't describe how much i appreciate them and how much i thank god for putting me under their care! May god bless their marriage and may their love for one another will just grow each passing day! That's my prayer for them everytime I have some 'chit chat' with GOd. They might not be the perfect parents, but i'm not the perfect kid as well.. Daddy, mummy, u both rock my world!!! (i don't think they will like how i put it.. )

Oh.. another thing.. Congratulation to my sis-Amanda for scoring straight As in PMR.. Amanda, i'm so proud of you!!! You did the impossible!! haha.. me and Jessica will definitely not able to score staright As coz we are just.. well.. lets say..we are just very distracted people.. we rather spend time killing people (i'm talking about Counter Strike k.. )haha.. You did a great job and keep up the good work dear!!! May all your dreams and ambitions come true according to God's timing!!! I love you and yes.. i owe you an encouragement gift.. will get something nice for you if I happen to have the mood to go shopping k..

To the rest of you.. HAPPY (belated) NEW YEAR~!!! It has been great to know all of you and thank you so much for being there for me all these time.. i will thank all of you one by one in my next post coz now i'm signing out.. bye!!!!!
