how simple life can be..

My blog is always abandoned by me because sometimes, i really dont know what to talk about.. anyways, got this email few times from many different people and I thought this is something really good to share to u guys with.. Whether u have received this forwarded email before, just run through it.. its a good reminder on how simple life can be...

Health:

1. Drink plenty of water.
2. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner
like a beggar.
3. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less
food that is manufactured in plants.
4. Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.
5. Make time for prayer.
6. Play more games.
7. Read more books than you did in 2008.
8. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.
9 Sleep for 7 hours.
10. Take a 10-30 minutes walk every day. And while you walk, smile.

Personality:

11. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what
their journey is all about.
12. Don't have negative thoughts or things you cannot control.
Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.
13. Don't over do. Keep your limits.
14. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
15. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip.
16. Dream more while you are awake.
17. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
18. Forget issues of the past. Don't remind your partner with his/her
mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.
19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate
others.
20. Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present.
21. No one is in charge of your happiness except you.
22. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems
are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away like
algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
23. Smile and laugh more.
24. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

Society:

25. Call your family often.
26. Each day give something good to others.
27. Forgive everyone for everything.
28. Spend time with people over the age of 70 & under the age of 6.
29. Try to make at least three people smile each day.
30. What other people think of you is none of your business.
31. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your
family and friends will. Stay in touch.

Life:

32. Do the right thing!
33. Always speak the truth even if it leads to your death.
34. GOD heals everything.
35. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
36. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
37. The best is yet to come.
38. When you awake alive in the morning, thank GOD for it.
39. Your Inner most is always happy. So, be happy.

p/s: can't wait for my early christmas and birthday celebration with my family and darling next week.. hopefully everyone can make it..

think again..

A colleague of mine commented this when we were talking about people that spend so much money on branded goods:

'Why do u need to buy something that u dont need,
with the money u dont have,
to please people that u dont even know?'
Very very inspiring...

p/s: Gosh.. time really flies.. Im in my current company for 1 year already.. and soon, I'll be trained to serve in business class... wow.. I wonder whats ahead..

one inspiring thought...

This is something from my fren that he cut and paste for me: (very inspiring)
-
Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.
When the door of happiness closes, another opens, but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one which has been opened for us.
The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.
It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.
Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back! Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart but if it doesn't, be content it grew in yours. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.
Don't go for looks; they can deceive. Don't go for wealth; even that fades away.
-
Go for someone who makes you smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright. Find the one that makes your heart smile.
There are moments in life when you miss someone so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real!
Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.
May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to make you happy.
Always put yourself in others' shoes. If you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurts the other person, too.
The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.
Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt, those who have searched, and those who have tried, for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss and ends with a tear.
-
The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past, you can't go on well in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.
-
Hong An, thanks for this inspiring passage.. I really got inspired.. Thanks for everything..

the true happiness..

I was walking with my friend- Garbriel in the skypark (park at top floor of shopping complex) of VIVO city (my all time favourite mall in the whole small little island of Singapore) and noticed many children playing in the less than 15 cm deep water pool which has no slides or whatsoever.. Just a pool of water.. Thats it.. The children were happy.. Splashing water to each other no matter they know each other or not.. The joy on thier faces are simply priceless..
.
I was wondering.. When in the phase of us growing up, we stop treasuring all the small small little things that happened in our life? Be it a shallow pool of water, or just a 5 cent sweet from the candy store that our neighbour give us, we were happy when we were little children.. But now? As we mature and get ourselves involved in the materialistic concrete jungle of the world, we bacame less sensitive to the tiny things around us and we began to be more ambituous in life. The toy that comes free in a box with a RM1 chocolate that we bought from the stalls at the street and doraemon no longer bring a smile as big as it was now.. Now, a PS3 or a digital camera or a car or even a LV bag makes us more contented in life.. Do all these really matter? Even if we get them, we will set a higher goal and it will be never ending..
.
Think about it? Are you too ambituos that you have ignored the little things in your life? Sometimes life is not all about getting what the world thinks is best for us human race.. But is about what you care and love most.. Material things always go out of fashion but the things that money cannot buy are just priceless.. TRY TO BE MORE SENSITIVE about the things and people around you and soon, you will realise you can be as happy as those little kids I saw in the skypark..
.
Now, the thing that can make me on top of the world is the chance to go back home.. My home sweet home in the land of Bah Kut Teh.. :-)
.
p/s: Just came back from Auckland NZ yesterday night.. It was quite a good experience.. Will blog bout it soon when i got the time.. haha.. Adios!

poem...

Every time I see your smiling face
it takes me away to a special place.
Every word I hear you say
it makes me have a happy day.
Every time I saw your eyes
my frustration suddenly go away
Have you ever seen this poem before? I find it really simple yet sweet.. My friend claims that he wrote this by his own.. Is it true? haha.. Can't believe he's such a romantic if this is really original..
p/s: I'm so hungry right now.. and so addicted to Bejeweled 2.. dam addictive wei..

Lets pray for them..

I'm sure all of you are aware of what's going on with Myanmar and especially China which is really in need of support in any form. It really kills me to see all the pictures and news reporting about the disaster and the after shock.. I was browsing through online yesterday about the earthquake and tears were just rolling in my eyes as I see how the people trying their very best to save any survivors that are trap underneath the 'buildings' and time is really not on their side. Time is running out as it has been few days after the earthquake hit that area and even if the people survived under the 'building', they might get out of breath, or even starved to death. The death toll is rising dramatically and the cries of the people is loud and clear..

Let us all, in whatever religion you are in or believe, hold hands and pray for them.. We of course can't fly to China now to help but we can at least give them moral support in prayers.. If you can and able to, it would be better to contribute financially.. But I dont really know how.. I think some of the TV stations are collecting funds to aid the Chinese.. Before you go to sleep tonight or anytime, remember to say a short and simple prayer for them..

Everything starts with a FIRST..

She took a big breath before entering the restaurant that she has chosed in the brightly lighted shopping complex.. She still feels concern about herself and looking around as the people walking by.. Her mum was right, she was too caught up with so many friends in her life and she needs to take some time off and just be alone for awhile.. Having friends is not a bad thing.. but being alone once a while to 'detox' the brain is good for the soul. She doesn't understand how other people in the world can just eat in a restaurant alone while watching couples cuddling or people chatting away (loudly) with their friends.. Her friends can even go and watch a movie in a cinema alone!! She just can't do it.. ALONE..

She's been feeling all stressed up lately with her boss demanding more from her and more reports are required to be completed, she felt misserable with all the things happening in her life and she just do not want to tell her friends fearing that they might think that she's some depressing little chicken who just can't appreciate what God has given her. She felt contented with what she has, but at the same time she felt empty.. Empty because there's no goals in her life right now she wants to accomplish, empty because of the failed relationships she has, empty because she's tired and just don't feel like doing anything, and empty because she's not sure whether what she wants is right for her or not. She need some time alone in a place where no one knows her (and she can't find anyone that knows her) and she can do what she loves best- Reading her new found love- 'PS, I love you' by Cecelia Ahern (which she always imagined as 'Pamela Soo, I love you'.. secretly..) in a quiet and peaceful surrounding..

She surveyed the menu that was placed on top of the counter in front of the French-like restaurant and decided that this will be it.. The waitress greeted her politely as she walked in and handled her a menu for her to browse through as she sits down comfortably on the couch.. She ordered a Grilled salmon (which claims to come with creamy mashed potato and steamed vege) and her all time favourite western tea- English Breakfast and waited for the waitress to repeat the order before she continues her reading.. Anticipating to know the ending but appreciating the skillful writting of Cecelia.

Her mum was right, eating alone doesn't mean you are a sad old woman who has no company and eating alone can be quite stress-free as you do not have to ask around your company what they would like to eat and which restaurant they would like to go. You can just go anywhere you like and eat whatever you want. She told her mum that she feels bad seeing people eating alone in restaurants as she feels that they might feel lonely. Now she knows that she was wrong..

A tall, dark not quite bad looking waiter asked her politely whether is it ok for him to clear the empty plate in front of her when she was flipping the page of her book. She smiled at him politely and nodded. The food was quite good but the fish was a little too thick for her liking.. But she loves the mashed potato and forced herself to finish the big pile of it.. She was and is enjoying her alone time and it doesn't seem that bad.. It might not be a big deal for most people, but it is a big deal for her as she has never eaten in a restaurant alone in her entire 22 years of life.. Let alone sitting in a restaurant for more than 1 hour!! She rather 'tah bau' her food back home or she rather starve most of the time if there's noone accompanying her to eat...

She paid the bill which came up to an amount she did not expected.. But the ego and pride in her has take charged of her facial expression and she just place the money on the tray that was on the waiter's hand. She walked out of the restaurant feeling all fresh and new, giving herself a pat on her shoulder and was pretty proud of herself. Eating alone wasn't that bad and sad as she thought after all.. She did something she has never done before and she knows, in few months time, (if all things are according to what she expects) chances of her eating alone outside will increase drastically..

P/S: I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!

Cigarettes should be banned..

I seriously hate smokers!! The smoke they puff out whenever they smoke is seriously annoying and seriously inconsiderate.. No offence to my friends that smoke but U guys know how much I'm against u guys smoking!! I dont understand why all the smokers in the world are so dumb dumb that they fork out money to buy cigarettes and then later in life, they have to fork out more money to cure the deseases they got caused by smoking. Come on la.. we all know smoking is bad for health and it will lead to all sorts of deseases, especially cancer.. Why would you wanna speed up the pain in your life? If you have loads of money and dont mind going through all the therapies and paying super high price for the drugs to control your pain, then good for you darlings.. I'm really happy for you because at least you have a really good confident (which I dont have) that you will be filthy rich in the future..

My grandpa passed away due to smoking-caused cancer where the rest of us see him suffer during the leftover years he has on earth. It was seriously hard for him and for my grandma.. The therapies he has to go through was pure torture and it is nothing in the 'fun' category!!! He can only take liquid food because he will puke out all solid food he takes.. I prayed, I cried whenever I remember my grandpa and as much as I hate to let him go, I'm glad that God took him back and he doesn't need to suffer for long. Thank God he believed in Christ when he got to know he has cancer and was faithfully attending church. That is something that I'm really happy of. I miss my grandpa so much and believe me.. If you guys continue to smoke like chimney, u guys will ended up like my grandpa and you will see your family members blogging about how bad smoking is.. Not only you wil hard your own body, the 2nd hand smoke will also harm the people around you.. God give you a brain, use it and think wit it!!! If you have too much money, give it to me.. I help you to give to charity under your name.. SERIOUSLY!!!

*p/s: Just in case you guys don't know, Hermann's dad passed away yesterday morning and there will be another wake service Tonight (09/04/2008) at his house in Bandar Botanic at 8.30pm.. No, I dont think so his dad passed away due to smoking issues, but he died because of some complicated and very rare desease.. Pls do drop by if u have time k.. your support will mean alot to him..

Love is in the air..

I came across this very interesting article when I was 'poo-poo-ing' on the 'throne'.. (haha.. too much info..) Anyway, since Valentines day is tomorrow, I thought it is quite appropriate to share this with all of you. This is just a random thing done by a group of professionals on a group of kids aged between 4 to 8 years old. The question is simple: 'What does love mean?'. It is interesting to see kids think about love.. Its simple but so sweet..

'When people love you, the way they say your name is different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth.' -Billy, age 4
//
'Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other.' -Karl, age 5 (sounds abit disturbing.. haha)
\\
'Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs.' -Chrissy, age 6 (I always do that.. I love you all that always eat MCd with me..)
11
'Love is what makes you smile when you're tired.' -Terri, age 4 (This is just so sweet and true..)
11
'Love is when my mummy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is ok.' -Danny, age 7
11//
'Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My mummy and daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss.' -Emily, age 8 (so cute man this gal..)
11
/ 'If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend whom you hate.' -Nikka, age 6
//
'Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it everyday.' -Noelle, age 7 (that will be so smelly.. no wonder colognes and perfummes are so sellable.)
//
'Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well.' -Tommy, age 6
11
'During my piano recital, I was on a stage and I was scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore.' -Cindy, age 8
11
'My mummy loves me more than anybody else. You don't see anyone kissing me to sleep at night.' -Clare, age 6 (I do miss my parents kissing me at nights before I go to sleep.. I'm so way pass the age man..)
11
'Love is when mummy gives daddy the best piece of chicken.' -Elaine, age 5 (they say the best way to keep a man's heart is to feed his appetite.. SO TRUE!!)
11
'Love is when mummy sees daddy all smelly and sweaty but still says he is more handsome than Robert Redford.' -Chris, age 7
11
'You really shouldn't say I LOVE YOU unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget.' -Jessica, age 8 (this gal is such a genius and sweety pie)
11
And the best of all.. which i love the most is:
11
'I know my older sister loves me because she gives my all her old clothes and has to go out to buy new ones.' -Lauren, age 4 (Jess and Mandy, that shows how much I love you both all these while for sacrificing my clothes.. haha.. this girl is still young.. she will know the truth in later years.. haha.. so innocent and adorable..)
11
Often times we simply forget how simple love can be and its not about pricey gifts and datings only.. Learn from these children and you will realise that this world is full of love and be sensitive to all the little details your love ones always do for you.. (of course, you don't expect to find it from Mr O-sa-ma.. )

I would like to wish all of you, be it single or taken or married, A HAPPY and BLESSED VALENTINES DAY.. I seriously feel that you don't really need to celebrate on tomorrow because its so not worth it!!! Everyday can be Valentines Day my dears.. Even though I do not have any special someone in my life right now, I wanna thank all the people that have impacted my life so far.. Without you all, I won't be where I am today.. Especially my really close friends- Sau Kin, Wuan Chin, Grace, Jeffrey, Hermann, Ryan, Celina and so many more.. Also my dear sisters- Jess and Mandy.. I cherished every moment we spend together and all the wacky, sarcastic, heart-to-heart chats we have whenever we can't sleep.. and of course.. enjoyed gossiping with you both too.. Thanks to everyone that were there for me all these while and looking forward for a better tomorrow with all of you.. ADIOS!! *hugz*

Chinese New year Count down...

I'm stuck in my office waiting for the clock to strike 1pm so that I can get out of here and go to my grandma's house for a reunion lunch! Thank God that my company gives us all chinese a half day off (technically, its not really half day off..) and most of them have taken thier leaves starting from today. The office is slightly peaceful.. and the malays are joking among each other entertaining everyone, eating complimentary mandarin oranges that our clients gave and I'm so in a good mood knowing that I don't need to work for the next 5 days just lifts up my spirit!! YAHOO!! Though I am a Christian since I was born, I am still a typical Chinese at heart. I do not pray to my 'nenek moyang-s' or the gods of properity but my family and me still practises some of the old traditions..

I always look forward for our annual reunion lunch in my dad's mum's house and the annual reunion dinner with my mum's side's family in any chinese restaurants (coz both my grandpa and ma had passed away few years back.. i miss them dearly..) . Though we are all staying quite close together, but we hardly meet together as all of us are committed in one thing or another. It is just too hard to get a time where everyone will be free and able to have a proper meal together. Family tie is so important that sadly, most of us tend to ignore or forgotten these very modern days. Many think that friends are more important and family is just too boring as they always don't understand how we feel personally. I admit, friends play such important roles in our lives and it is just so hard to move on with life without friends. But family is important too! I know quite a handful of people that rather stay outside most of the time and only go back home when they are tired or when they are just broke. Like what my mum always say to me (back in those days) ... I treat my house like a hotel.. only comes back when i need the bed or food.. other times, bayang pun tak ada.. I used to be so rebelious that I will find any excuses on earth that I can possibly find just to not stay at home.. I used to dislike my family.. I used to be embarrassed about my family.. I even hated my dad and mum before for bringing me into this world..

I know i was wrong.. I realise how foolish i was and thus admitting it now.. I am not shy to tell out the mistakes I did before as I love my family now and that I wanna spend my time with them before things happen and I'll regret. Family will not forsake you even if you have done something wrong that your friends might despise you for it.. Family will stand by your side when you feel that the world has betrayed you.. Family is love, family is care.. Family should be our main priority and motivation in life (other than GOD above of cause..).

Try to make more time to sit down on the same table with your family for a meal.. it will make alot of difference. Of course, CNY reunion is more for the whole big family including all your relatives.. but other than that, you can always have a decent dinner with your immediate family any days in the year.. Spending time with the people that love you is important as they wanna feel loved as well.. We are all imperfect humans with emotions to express.. Treat your family nicely as friends can go and come but family stays with you forever..

Have a HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR all my friends.. (oops.. and family.. )
Don't eat too much oranges and fall sick like how I always do every year.. (i just can't get my hands off those juicy tangerines)
Have a blessed (plus prosperous) CNY and may you and your family will have an awesome time!!!
Take care and GOD bless! *hugz*

Valentines day.. *yawn*

Met up with a girl friend of mine the other day and she complained that her dearest darling won't be able to spend this year's valentine with her and she's very upset! I was wondering why because this boy friend of hers treats her like a princess and 'manja-ed' her too much.. so for me, I don't think it is a problem if her boyfriend can't be with her because he's working and Valentine falls on a weekday anyway.

I feel that she's over-reacting as Valentine's day by practical is over-commercialised which really helped those blood-sucking business-men earn alot of $$$ by selling flowers, gifts and chocolates with an on-top-of-the-world + ridiculously high price. If a couple is in love with each other, everyday can be Valentines day and its not just February 14. You can still tell your darling that you love her/him on other days and pamper him/her on any other days other than that day. I told her that it is not practical to go out on that particular day because you will be wasting time queing up with other couples in those fancy restaurants which your poor darling has to vormit out a big amount of money for those small servings and you guys will have no peace to enjoy those food as other couples are looking at you, aiming on your table, waiting impatiently for you to leave.. whats the point? Can't romance also.. Since her darling already say that he will bring her out on the weekends after that day, its good enough!! So don't complain la..

At least she has a boyfriend that really cares and loves her.. ME.. haihz.. alone again.. haha.. I'm not complaining because I know I can spend my night with my close friends or my family (better than nothing right?) in my house and just do whatever we want. But sometimes, it feels good to know that someone somewhere is actully thinking about you and missing you.. I am definitely not a big fan of Valentines day because the world has this mentality that if you have no date on that day, you are such loser! Friend, being single is not wrong and not spending time with your darling (if you taken of course) on Valentines day doesn't make u a loser as well. Why spend the unneccessary money when you can actually use the money to eat a good meal and shop on other days? Do you actually have to wait for that day only in order to show each other how important are they to you? Pls.. If someone is so important to you, tell them and show them that you love and care for them.. There are 364 other days for you to proof to them (for this year, you have 365 days) that you love them!

Don't get me wrong, if you and your other half has plans for this very 'special' day, good for you both because you guys made an effort.. But if you do not have because your the other half is busy, be considerate la.. Don't be angry because you still can 'celebrate' on other days and your the other half still loves you!!! I am a little annoyed with my friend because she keeps complaining just because her boyfriend can't be with her on that day. Come on la.. grow up!!! (don't worry, i'm not talking behind her back because I told her straight to her face that she's not considerate about her boyfriend's working condition as she's still a student and she's kindda rich and doesn't really know how the real world is like yet. We didn't quarrel coz we are very straight forward to each other)

* Watch a movie at one of your houses with your darling... At least can cuddle each other ma.. so nice.. then cook something together.. Both of you will still swallow the food no matter how yucky is it and laughed at each other.. that's what love is all about! better than rushing all your agendas outside right?

Where is the love?

Recently, I have just finished watching a Hongkong drama series which the story evolves around a bunch of people who worked in the Airpot (handsome pilots, hot air stewardess, friendly airport crews). It is quite an old drama but I managed to get the DVD set (of course pirated) when I was in Penang during the New year as I was not able to catch it when they were aired in national TV or Astro. Anyway, it was a good drama and I did cry when watching some of the scenes.. (typical emotional crying baby)

There are some things that i learned from the show and it really touched my heart.. let me summarize abit here:

The main actress- Joyce is married to Vincent (pilot) and was happy until she thought she might have contracted Aids after saving an Aids victim from an accident and cut herself. She went and tell Vincent's best friend-Kelvin(also pilot) and just do not want Vincent to worry about her. Kelvin used to date Joyce but it didn't went well due to many misunderstandings and they gone to their seperate ways until Joyce met Vincent and got married. Vincent found out about Joyce's possibility of contracting Aids and was dissapointed that his wife did not tell him first but told Kelvin instead(her ex-lover). Vincent confronted Joyce and told her that he feels that she still loves Kelvin more than him and asked her to choose. Joyce was in shock and did not answer him right away that she loves him..and him only. So, Vincent was more crushed but he left Joyce alone to think while he went working and was the captain for the flight from Hong Kong to Rome.

While at Rome, Vincent realised that he just can't let Joyce go and made a long distance call to Joyce but Joyce was engaged on her cell phone. He called the house and left a very touching message on the answering machine telling her how much he loves her and all the things they have gone through. He was just being stupid for thinking too much and comparing himself with his best friend. After that, he saved a kid from an accident but got himself killed. News went to Hong Kong and Joyce was shocked and sad when she found out. She realised how much she loves Vincent and regreted for not telling him how much he meant to her. After listening to the message left by Vincent moments before he died, Joyce went into depression because she felt guilty and she loves him so much. (for the rest of the story, you just have to catch yourself LA.. )

This story is really an inspiration and I enjoyed the whole drama! The casts are good and the story is well-written. Anyway, we always took the people around us for granted because we always thought that they will be around us no matter what. We are humans and we are imperfect beings. We refused to confess how much they meant to us or how much we love them because of the ego in us and its just too mashi mashi to express. Asians are not good when comes to expressing compared to the Ah mohs but what harm you will get by telling the people you care that you love and care about them?

Have you told your parents how much you love them?
Have you told your siblings how much you care for them?
Have you told your darling/sweetheart/honey how much she/he meant to you?
Have you told your friends how important are they to your life?

I make it a point in my life to tell people that i really appreciate them and how much they meant to me (at least i tried k). Although i might not get the same appreciation in return but at least I know I have brigthen someone's day althought they keep saying 'no la..where got? normal la..nothing la' (u know, typical malaysian). If, (touch wood) I have to leave this world for a better place (HEAVEN!!), i will not leave this world with regrets. The point is.. you dont need to pay in order to tell them that you love them.. You wont get yourself hurt by telling all those things.. In fact, you will touch hearts and the relationship between you and that person will be stronger!!! There's nothing wrong by loving people.. there's nothing wrong by telling your friends that 'I love you guys!!!'.. You wont get yourself into jail for doing that ok..Do you need to wait until something happens to them and leave you with loads of guilt and regrets like what happened to Joyce?

So what are you waiting for? Start spreading the love people!!! PEACE!!!!

those down down moments..

Have you ever encouter moments where you feel that you have done your best in certain situation but the result is just so discouraging or dissapointing? If you never encounter, pls do tell me what is your recipe of succeeding in everything u did.. I will call you my SIFU.. really.. No JOKE!!! Being the most ordinary gal (or should i call myself lady? no.. it doesn't sound right.. i prefer to be labelled as gal still) any ordinary gal can be.. I always encounter such situations..

Lately, I felt a little discouraged (ok.. not a little.. alot)with things around me.. Well, who doesn't? Job, relationships, random day to day stuff etc.. It seems like things never go according to how i prefer it to be. When things like these happen, we always like to ask 'God, why me?'.. It is just too easy to point the finger to God when things don't go our way.. At least for me.. I do blame God sometimes for putting me through those emotional/ physical torture. Life is never easy especially when you grow up and have more responsibilities. Life is no more about competing who has the nicest Barbie dolls or who's dad is the greatest.. life is more about how to achieve good grades without studying too hard or how to impress your boss with the most little effort..haha

Sometimes we do feel that we do not deserve that kind of treatment that we are getting after all that we have done but the fact is, that is what we are getting! Live with it or try to improve it/ do something with it if you are not happy with the outcome.. Its always harder to live with it coz our 'kiasu' spirit always ask us to fight and get what you deserve. But in the end, we feel even more dissapointed because things turn out to be worse.. Many times I tried to live with it or just forget it because i do not have the energy to persevere anymore but really 'boh kam muan' (don't feel fair in hokkien) man.. I'm doing all the job yet i'm the one suffering.. what good i get? Why should i do it in the first place? Nobody appreciates what.. *angry*

At this point of time, having some good friends or even your siblings or even your parents by your side is really helpful for the scenario. Trust me! I know men (as in the male species) have this ego deep hidden inside them that they won't tell anyone when they are really down but no harm trying right? Anyway, thank god for people that care for you.. These kind of times are the best times to really know who cares for you.. I'm always amazed on how my family and friends can notice my slightest change in my day to day emotions. At the end of the day when you look back, things weren't that bad if you look at the other side and knowing that you are not alone..(at least you know now that PamSoo is always in the same club as you) I always see the cup as half empty but never realise that the cup is half full (u know what i mean?).

It is not wrong to think negatively when obstacles come along the way.. we are humans not God.. but never dedicate yourself into the 'i'm so pityful' world too long until the people around your get so sick with your emos (short for Emotions). I believe we have to set our limits on our emotions as failures/dissapointments/discouragements come and go almost everyday (for me, its like everyday thing!!). They just love to visit us as Devil is never failing to put us down. Do something you like or enjoy when you are down.. get yourself distracted like how i'm doing right now by blogging and crapping all the way.. Talk to your mama/papa/ korkor/jiejie/ frens/pets.. whoever or whatever that makes you happy. If you are rich enough and you just encounter a major failure, go for a short trip.. Beaches are always a great getaway.. for me now, going out with a friend for a drink and have a great laugh is good enough coz the fact is i can't even afford a short trip. Thanks Grace for accompanying me and thanks to Jess and Amy for being good listening ears. Just got back from a good indian food hours ago with Grace and i'm still feeling bloated.. Food makes me happy.. Counter strike makes me happy..Looking at curly hair hot hunks makes me happy.. music makes me happy.. my dog drives me crazy.. haha..

Seriously, i think i'm crapping over here.. but who cares.. its my blog anyway.. haha.. thanks to all of you who were concern about me in msn.. i really appreciate it. I will try not to be emo anymore.. at least for tomorrow.. haha..Time to sign off.. good night earthlings!

Christmas..

Christmas is over and i was so busy and caught up with so many activities that i have no time to update my poor blog. Went for caroling, decent christmas parties, went to church and so much more. I will update more about it later but right now, i just wanna share to you all something that is really meaningful. This is from my sister-Amanda's blog and its just a short message on what Christmas is all about (ok, i know Christmas is over.. but this article that my sis wrote is so good and i just wanna share with you all).. simple but straight to the point..

Christmas is Coming

I once asked a close friend of mine what Christmas is to her. She answered, "It's all about presents, turkey, santa, and booze!" It's not that she really don't know the true meaning of Christmas, cause I'm sure she knows, but I think she choose to ignore it.

At this time of the year, many of us become busy preparing for the special occasion. We shop for presents, send greeting cards to friends, buy Christmas clothes, and eat an elaborate dinner on Christmas night with either our family or friends. But do all these really explain Christmas? I'm not saying that putting up Christmas trees and exchanging presents with friends are wrong, because these things really help create the atmosphere for the holiday, which I love. But we sometimes get too carried away with trying to create the perfect Christmas that we forget about the main reason for Christmas, which is the birth of Jesus Christ. Talking about this reminds me of a story in the Bible in Luke 10:38-42. It is about Jesus visiting Martha and Mary's home. Mary sat at Jesus's feet listening to what he said while Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. Martha complained to Jesus because Mary was not helping, and Jesus answered, "You are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her." Martha was so engrossed with the preparations, she forgot about the more impotant thing, which was getting to know Jesus and spending time with him. It's pretty much the same thing isn't it?

If you are a Christian, you most probably will go to church on Christmas morning to celebrate Jesus's birth. But after that, what do you do? Party at a friend's house? Shop for more clothes? Or take the advantage of a public holiday to sleep all day long? It's just like forgetting about the birthday boy right after his birthday party, and going ahead with the stuff you want to do with your other friends. I have to admit that I tend to forget the most important reason for Christmas too, and that I hope for as many presents as possible when come this time of the year. But I am going to try to focus this year. At least I tried to try.

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

God loves us so much that He is willing to send His only son Jesus to be born on this earth to suffer and die for us. Because he died for us, we can go to heaven if we believe in him. And Jesus was born on Christmas day. Have it ever occur to you that, without Christmas, we all will have to go to hell when we die?

*unquote*
Christmas is not about partying, people.. Its about the birth of the saviour that freed us from the consequences of being a sinner. Anyway, i hope you all have learned something and may this article benefits your life from today on... Time to go.. Chaos!

Are you happy?

Life nowadays are so stressful and busy that most of us kindda forgotten how to be happy? Most of the time we are complaining that we are stressed up, tired, busy and bla bla bla.. How many of us actually sat down and ponder on what we actually have in our lives that we should thank God or at least thank our parents for?

I do complain about my life being hectic and stressful sometimes (ok ok, most of the time) and that there are times where I just ignore all the blessings I had in my life. I find it hard to be happy and be contended with what i have. I really have to repent and really think positive before God decides to take away all the blessings he had and will have for me. I never had enough money, but (repented) at least I have a comfortable single bed to sleep on, food to eat whenever I'm hungry, and a nice small cosy car to travel on when I have the urge to get out from the house. I never had enough time, but (repented) at least I have time to work, play and sleep for a day. I believe 24Hours is specially created for humans as it is not too long nor too short to go through. Even if we have 36Hours or 48hours, i think i will be sleeping through most of it and complaining why the time passes sooooooo slow.. Hahaha..

I used to always complain that my parents are too demanding and too naggy, but (repented long time ago) at least i still have them around to help me during my time of need, advice me about relationship problems, love me and shower me with yummy home-cooked dishes when i'm all tired after a days work. I used to hate my sisters for snatching away all the attentions that were used to be given to me from my relatives and grandparents (not forgetting my parents), but (repented) at least I'm not the one and only bored child in the family and they did spice up my life alot!!! They brought laughter (and tears as well) to me and i just can't imagine life without my two sisters. They can be a thorn in the a** sometimes but I just can't ignore and not love them.

There are many things in life we have took granted for.. I have repented and trying to appreciate all I have, have you? Take some time off to tell your parents how much you love them and appreciate them before it is too late.. if you are always stressed up, take some days off and go for a short holiday. Malaysia has so much to offer in terms of affordable vacation spots, take advantage of it. If you feel that you are not appreciated, take some time off to ask around whether you have done anything wrong and fix it! By sitting down there and complaining will not solve the problem. By starting off with small steps, you will find yourself happier and more contended with your life. Life is not that miserable after all.. if others can be happy, why not you? Tell me about your experience ya.. all the best in your path to repentance! *signing off*
